Google Ajax Libraries API? Is anyone really using this commercially?

Googles AJAX Libraries API has been around a while now and I still don’t understand who will use it, atleast not from my and my clients perspective where:

most development is done internally on various portals and intranets.
not all employees has free internet access.
they don’t want to be reliable on other software vendors

Some companies just has the right attitude

Yesterday I was into an exciting discussion about why some companies can have a fan-club and others don’t. We talked about Google, Apple, Microsoft and IBM where the first two pretty much gets away with a lot of strange stuff but no matter what the latter two companies does they simply don’t appeal the tone-setting [...]

They implemented a feature called share or sharing which allows me to share a post that I find interesting with my friends that also uses Google Reader. It’s even possible to share a post and add meta data to the note, called [...]

Next Lotus Notes has codename HANNOVER

Hannover is not only a town in Germany, it’s also the code name for the new Lotus Notes release. IBM has a product page available. IBM says it’s scheduled for 2007. I bet it wont be Q1.

I personally have no problems when people have ads on their blog. I don’t think advertising is something from the devil. However, I don’t expect to make any money on my new sidebar. Instead it’s fun to see how Google AdSense is working.
I have been dealing alot with Domino R7 webservices lately and haven’t had [...]

SketchUp is free for personal use

I wrote that Google bought Sketchup some weeks ago and wondered what this will do with the product. The first thing they did was putting the rather expensive product free. Atleast for personal use.
