Hi Joachim,

First of all: Thanks for writing this awesome plugin!
Unfortunately though, I can’t get it to work.
I’m using it in LR 3 and Snow Leopard.
It keeps saying “Unable to Export: Enter password” even though I have entered it.
The export button stays grey and inactive.

Any idea?

Not sure about Mac but I had the same problem on my Win7 64bit LR3.

But I managed to solve it but making sure the plug in directory files are not ReadOnly and have permissions to write/read to all the files.

I think I stole it from here, I don’t remember. But I modified somebody else’s Lightroom to Tumblr plugin to include captions, and so that you could still set the resolution / etc. There might have been a few other little tweaks.

It’s still kind of imperfect, but it gets the job done (LightRoom3).

So second question: I put the tumblr.lrplugin in this folder (as described here http://blogs.adobe.com/phosphors/2009/09/installing_and_using_lightroom.html):

Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules

I enabled it in lightroom under manage plugins in the file menu. No idea how to make it work.

Can you just write a step-by-step guide setting this thing up? Sorry for the noob question. I’ve never used plugins. Btw I’m using lightroom 2.

Where do you put the file to install it? Do I just doubleclick the tumblr.lrplugin file in my downloads folder, or do I have to put it somewhere in the library/applications support/… etc.? I’m using Mac OS 10.6.. sorry for the simple question

Hi everyone !
the plug-in works perfectly with LR2 turning on Vista. I just didn’t know how to make work at first, but i eventually found where to click :)
I had just one question about this plug-in:
is it possible to add a caption to the photo before exporting it to tumblr ?
