Cool product for safe dinner in the sofa

Not seldom am I finding myself balancing a glass of beer on the couch, leaning over the laptop in my lap to get the plate with hot pasta wondering if I will make it or not. So far I haven’t wasted either food or beer. I have a story of a full cup of good hot java inside another laptop, but I’ll tell that that one another time. Back to the dinner balancing act. Even if the dinner finishes without any catastrphic scenarios I do think that some damage control could be useful. I found this product on he PayPerPost.com site. It’s perhaps not the kind of tools or utility I normally would review, but I wanted to check out how the service works.
