How do I delete 5000 mails in one action using GMAIL?

Sorry, it’s a true question. I have 5000 mails tagged with a label and now I want to delete all, not 100 in a time, and in one step. Seems impossible. I mailed Google a couple of weeks (months?) but didn’t get any answers.
